Charleston's Premier Big Band
The Carolina Jazz Big Band is led by Trumpeter
Chuck Dalton, who moved to the Charleston area
in 2006 after a 20-year+ career playing 1st trumpet
for the main show rooms of The Desert Inn,
Stardust and Tropicana Hotels in Las Vegas.
Chuck has played over 100 major acts from Elton
John to Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Other
members of the Band have played with the Glenn
Miller, Jimmy Dorsey and Harry Connick big bands.

The CJBB plays a vast repertoire of Jazz styles
ranging from 40's and 50's big band swing jazz
a la Glenn Miller to Latin sounds. Male and
Female vocalists are available to sing your big
band jazz favorites. Quiana Parler, Ann Caldwell
and John Roberts are featured vocalists and each
can be booked with the Band as a solo vocalist or
in any combination desired.
